Welcome — I'm Kira, and I paint the animals we love most. Working in both watercolor and oil, I focus on the soft expression, quirks, and quiet personality that make your pet uniquely yours.
Whether you want a delicate watercolor keepsake or a rich oil portrait with depth and presence, every commission starts with your photos and the story behind them. I treat each piece as a small heirloom — something you'll want on the wall for years.

The process
How commissioning works
Request first, pay later. You’ll only book a spot once we agree on the details and you feel ready.
Send your photos
Fill out the commission form with pet details and one or more reference photos. No payment yet.
Get a personal quote
I’ll confirm medium, size, and pricing, and answer any questions about style or timeline.
Pay securely
When you’re ready, pay via the Stripe or PayPal link I send. Apple Pay and Google Pay work through Stripe on supported devices.
I paint your portrait
Your pet goes on the easel. I’ll share progress or a proof as agreed, then finish and prepare for delivery.

Pay for your commission
Once we’ve agreed on medium, size, and price, you’ll complete payment through a secure third-party link. Requesting a commission is free — nothing is charged until you choose to book.

Submit the form with your pet’s photos and details — no payment required to request. I’ll review everything, confirm the medium and size, and send a quote with a secure payment link (Stripe or PayPal). Once paid, your portrait goes on the schedule.
When is payment due?
Payment is due after we agree on the details and you’re ready to book your spot. You’ll receive a private Stripe or PayPal link. There is no obligation until you choose to pay.
What photos work best?
Clear, well-lit photos where your pet’s eyes and face are sharp. Natural light is ideal. Feel free to send several angles and expressions — more reference usually means a better portrait. Phone photos are fine.
How long does a portrait take?
Turnaround depends on size, medium, and current waitlist. As a placeholder: expect roughly X–Y weeks from payment to completion. I’ll give you a clearer estimate when we confirm your commission.
Do you paint watercolor and oil?
Yes. Watercolor brings soft edges and luminous color; oil offers richer depth and texture. Choose a preference on the form, or select “Not sure” and I’ll recommend one based on your photos.
Can I get the painting framed?
Framing options and add-on pricing can be listed once you finalize your price chart. If you frame elsewhere, I can still suggest styles that suit the finished piece.
What is your refund policy?
Replace this with your real policy. Example structure: sales are final after delivery; if you’re unhappy during the process, partial refund options may apply before shipping.
Do you ship internationally?
Shipping regions, costs, and any customs/duties notes go here. International buyers are typically responsible for import taxes in their country.
